These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Swahili Children's Books website and resources, provided by Swahili Children's Books, trading as Swahili Children's Books ("we", "us", "our"). By using our website, games, or downloading our free PDFs, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service & Products

We provide bilingual Swahili–English children's books, printable PDF storybooks and workbooks, learning games, and related educational resources. All public downloads and games are free. Optional PayPal donations are entirely voluntary and do not unlock any content.

2. Acceptance

By continuing to access or use the service, you confirm that you accept these terms and that you are of legal age or have authority to enter into this agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you must not:

• Use the service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose, or to send spam.
• Infringe our or any third party's intellectual property rights.
• Interfere with the security of the service, including by introducing malware, probing, or scraping.
• Resell, redistribute, or share downloaded digital products beyond your personal or single-classroom use.

4. Intellectual Property

We retain ownership of the service and all related intellectual property, including software, illustrations, text, branding, and downloadable materials. Downloading a free PDF grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your personal or single-classroom use only.

5. Donations

Optional PayPal donations help keep the project running but are not required to access any resource. Donations are voluntary, non-refundable, and processed by PayPal's terms of service.

6. Service Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service for material breach of these terms, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the service is limited to the amount of any voluntary donation you made in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £10 if no donation was made. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Swahili Children's Books operates, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.
